Young Lawyers Needed to Judge Missouri’s We the People Finals
Young lawyers are needed to act as judges at the We the People mock congressional hearings scheduled for January 26, 2009 in Jefferson City. The Young Lawyers' Section of The Missouri Bar has traditionally partnered with the We the People program, a national constitutional study program for students in Grades 4-12. The Young Lawyers' Section Newsletter Committee asked for young and recently admitted lawyers to nominate a peer who deserved recognition as a "Young Lawyer You Should Know." The committee selected three nominees to be highlighted in this edition of The Young Lawyer: Elijah Haahr of Springfield, Christallyn McCloud of St. Louis, and John McGurk of Kansas City.
